You can insert HTML tags by clicking on the HTML button on the toolbar of the editor when creating an article.

The only categorisation that eggBlog natively supports is through tags which you can use when posting/editing an article.

Creating an article...
Paste from word-document is a pain with default editor. Use 'Whizzywig' from http://unverse.net/ instead!
